Joy Collaborative is truly a collaboration

Much more than a business, we are a community. Our impassioned team of volunteers create spaces that give control back to kids. We create environments that for some kids become magnets of activity; for other kids a place of respite. For all the kids and families we serve, we aspire to create spaces that deliver joy.

It’s a quote we hear often, and I’m thrilled that we consistently get such a strong reaction. It is not easy work, but for the youth we serve, we can never raise the bar too high. 

There is a gap. A gap between care provided in a clinic setting, and all the activities that are involved in caring for a kid with a diagnosis. Joy Collaborative is a 501©(3) that was created to champion youth with life-limiting medical conditions by harnessing the power of design to build one-of-a-kind environments that bring delight, enhance independence, create community, and foster well-being. 

We can only renovate spaces through the generosity of our donors and the talented designers and builders that rise to our mission. Whether that’s creating spaces to provide respite or to encourage and support learning activities, we team with those providing care to deliver engaging spaces that go well beyond paint and stickers. Research shows that youth who are provided with spaces that support their well-being are more motivated and have a more positive outlook on their future. 

I share this with you today in the hopes that you’ll join our community. We need:

· Donors who understand that supporting youth with these conditions is vital to their sense of well-being and can lead to a brighter view of their future. Donors can make financial contributions via our Donate page or develop an impact plan with the help of one of our Board Members. 

· Sponsors who will partner with us to create a sustaining model of transformation for youth in which they may not have any control. Sponsors are needed for product donations. If you or your company are interested in sponsoring a product donation, contact us.
